Listing Guidelines

School Junkie allows users to list items for sale on the platform. Sellers must ensure that all listings are accurate, lawful and comply with the rules set out below.

Accurate Descriptions

Sellers must ensure that listings accurately describe the item being sold.

Descriptions should clearly state:

  • the type of item
  • the condition of the item
  • the correct size where applicable
  • the relevant school where applicable
  • any defects, damage or imperfections.

Listings must not contain misleading or false information.

Images

Images uploaded to the platform must clearly display the item being sold.

Images may not include:

  • identifiable people
  • faces
  • children or school learners
  • personal documents
  • unlawful, offensive or inappropriate material.

School Junkie may remove images or listings that violate these requirements.

Condition of Items

Items listed for sale should be in usable condition unless clearly described otherwise.

Sellers must disclose any defects or damage.

Pricing

Sellers are responsible for setting the price of items listed for sale.

Prices must be displayed clearly and accurately.

 

Removal of Listings

School Junkie reserves the right to remove or suspend listings that:

  • violate platform policies
  • appear fraudulent or misleading
  • breach applicable laws.
